Moulds

VDL Kunststoffen's tool engineer is closely involved in the development of your product and is part of the project team. Once the design is ready, the tool enigeer is responsible for specifying, outsourcing, supervising and validating the mould to be made. With this direct approach to our toolmakers, we continuously monitor progress and quality under the motto ‘First Time Right’.

Our toolmakers are divided into the following categories:

• Small simple moulds
• Small complex moulds
• Large simple moulds
• Large complex moulds
• Multi-component moulds
• Test moulds

Our suppliers are located all over the world. Our own well-equipped tool shop takes care of preventive maintenance and, if necessary, repair of the moulds. We are therefore not dependent on third parties and optimum flexibility and continuity of supply are guaranteed.
