Consumer products

The products supplied by VDL Kunststoffen for the consumer market must be sleek and polished. Small colour differences, burrs, damage or flow lines (due to an incorrectly chosen injection position) are unacceptable in this market. This requires not only great expertise in moulds and injection moulding, but also the ability to empathise with a customer: searching together for the best applicable solution.

‘Gentle touch’

At many injection moulding companies, products fall into a container in a controlled manner. This is very sensitive for cosmetic products because it increases the risk of slight damage. VDL Kunststoffen responds to this by applying fully automatic robotisation: suction cups and grippers that remove the product from the mould and place it in a controlled manner on a conveyor belt for further cooling.

We are able to meet cosmetic requirements like no other. We have modern colour measurement equipment and VDL Kunststoffen has therefore also proven to be a suitable partner in this market.
